Robin Cook passes away
I'm shocked to hear of the news that former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook died in hospital today after collapsing while hillwalking in Scotland.
Mr Cook had apparently collapsed with a suspected heart attack on the mountainside while out walking during his summer holidays.
I'm absolutely shocked at this news. I particularly remember Mr Cook for the exceptional speech he gave when he resigned from the British Cabinet over the war in Iraq.
May he rest in peace.
