He's back!
Ireland's hopes of making it to the 2006 World Cup in Germany have taken a turn for the worst with the news that Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane has decided to come out of retirement. (hat-tip Colm Bracken) To make matters worse, Chelsea's Claude Makelele has also decided to come out of retirement.
France come to Dublin for a crucial World Cup qualifying game on the 7th of September.
This is something we could have done without. Two of the best players in the world today are back. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
