McDowell Maintains Pressure on SF

I'm glad to see Justice Minister Michael McDowell continuing to put pressure on Sinn Fein over their criminality. The Dail have passed a motion condemning the murder of Robert McCartney and have expressed solidarity with the McCartney family.Speaking last night, Mr McDowell reiterated his claim that Sinn Fein and the IRA were the same organisation and said they had no respect for the laws of the Republic.

"The provisional movement is a single entity which terms itself the republican movement. It has a single leadership," he said.

"The entire movement, including Sinn Fein, regards that leadership as the authentic source of political legitimacy on this island.

"Its decisions are law, its murders are mere executions, its tortures are but punishments."

Spot on, Minister.I again applaud his stance on Sinn Fein.I would hope his views would be shared by all decent-minded nationalists but, sadly, I feel Sinn Fein's supporters are far from decent-minded...
