Kenny Blasts Sinn Fein
The Dail debated a Fine Gael motion expressing revulsion at the murder of Belfast man Robert McCartney last night.
Opening the debate, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny used the murder to launch an attack on Sinn Fein.He said the IRA gang that carried out the killing and cleaned up forensic evidence afterwards was clearly linked to Sinn Fein.
"It has been put to me that youths who fall foul of this gang have appointments made for them at the local Sinn Fein advice centre before they are kneecapped," he claimed.
This is some claim from Mr Kenny.I welcome the stance taken by Fine Gael on Sinn Fein criminality in recent weeks and months.It is important that the Opposition continues to pile the pressure on Sinn Fein and their illegal activities.
