Hero: Brian Hayes:Fine Gael's NI spokesman Senator Brian Hayes said Hugh Orde's comments had left Sinn Fein with very serious questions to answer and said that the offer to release the killers of Garda Jerry McCabe as part of a deal to restore devolution should be withdrawn.

"The time has come for the government to stand-up to this duplicity" he said.

Mr.Hayes is absolutely right.The McCabe issue should no longer be an issue.

Villains: Sinn Fein:It's bad enough they are tied to a terrorist organisation but to insult the intelligence of everyone on this island by claiming they are the victims of a conspiracy is just plain pathetic.

It is time for nationalists to abandon this sorry excuse for a democratic party.
