Keane grabs first goal for Hoops!

The legend celebrates! Great to see Celtic footballer and Irish hero and legend Roy Keane get his first goal for the club against Falkirk.

Keane opened the scoring with a shot from 20 yards that took a deflection on its way past keeper Allan Ferguson.

Keane's goal helped Celtic to a 2-1 win which takes them 10 points clear at the top of the SPL.

According to the BBC:

"Keane was coming in for some rough treatment from the visitors but he had the last laugh as Maloney's free-kick bounced off a defender and into his path in the 34th minute"

I'm pleased to see Roy Keane doing so well for Celtic. He looks on course to grab a Scottish Premier League winner's medal to add to his impressive collection of medals and trophies that he earned with Manchester United.

Some of United Irelander's readers might not have heard of this giant of a sportsman from Cork but if you want to learn all about Roy Keane, just watch this clip which sums up the Irish warrior. It highlights an event in the tunnel prior to a match between Arsenal and Manchester United when Arsenal's French captain Patrick Vieira tried to pick on United's English international defender Gary Neville. Unfortunately for Vieira, no one picks on Roy Keane's team-mates and gets away with it! (United famously went on to win the match in one of Keane's greatest performances for United)

There's only one Keano!
