Dumb UTV comment of the week
I feel sorry for the folks who have to moderate UTV's site. Their news reports are always well-written and informative but there's an awful lot of eejits who make really moronic comments. Take a look at this comment from 'DJ' from Belfast:
"This sight has went to the dogs hasn't it folks? it use to be about local news for local people.. all it is now is stories about down south and further afield... this isnt wicklow or cork this is NORTHERN IRELAND , the UNITED KINGDOM ! if i wanna read about a foreign country i will look at the dublin website or something."
This comment was in response to a report on UTV about a tiny island, where St Patrick was once supposedly shipwrecked, being up for sale. The thing is, the island is in Anglesey, north Wales, which is part of the United Kingdom.
