'Mad Dog' Soon Off His Leash
It's emerged today that former UDA commander Johnny Adair is due to be freed from Maghaberry jail next week.
Prison sources indicated he was expected to be freed on January 13 after serving two-thirds of his 16-year term for directing terrorism.
He had been in jail since a shooting war erupted on the streets of Belfast two years ago.
Adair's family and associates have been expelled from the North by the UDA and they've made it clear they will target Adair if he fails to follow suit after his release.
Two-thirds of his sentence?
