The Government recently sanctioned bus and rail fare hikes for CIE.The ESB and Bord Gais were also granted increases to domestic electricity and gas prices recently,petrol and diesel prices have risen for motorists in recent months and the toll at Dublin's Westlink toll bridge has increased to €1.80.
Not only that but the charge to attend an A&E ward also jumped by €10 in the budget.
"We need a far more vigorous and proactive approach from the Government if the exploitation of consumers is to be halted" she said.

Absolutely right.Without a doubt this Government is a joke.
