Ian Paisley the nationalist?

Could DUP leader Ian Paisley be a closet nationalist? I know it sounds ridiculous but his recent remarks show a very keen interest in the affairs of Dublin.

UTV reports that Paisley will shortly meet Bertie Ahern and tell him that contact could be broken off if the Colombia Three issue is not resolved.



So let me get this straight, the guy who for years protested about involvement from Dublin in the North's affairs, is willing to break off contact with Dublin over events which affect...Dublin?

I'd say Paisley was losing the plot but to be honest, I don't think he ever had it!
