Hero/Villain of the Day-09.01.05
Hero: Bertie Ahern:No,I haven't lost my mind!Just to show that I have nothing personal against the man I'm making him today's Hero of the Day due to his admirable stance against Sinn Fein.
That doesn't mean I'm pleased he's standing for another term!
Villain: Caoimhghin O'Caolain:It seems even Sinn Fein's TDs are getting in on the act!
Today, the Cavan/Monaghan TD declared it was a "disgrace" that the Government and the media have accepted the word of the PSNI chief constable about IRA involvement in the Belfast bank robbery.
O'Caolain also added that Hugh Orde had not produced a "scintilla of evidence to back up his allegations",and that we should not accept without question the word of a British appointee in Ireland. He went on to say that it is clear the DUP is unwilling to share power with republicans.
Cop on O'Caolain! The only "disgrace" is that you and your party expect us to swallow the tripe you're coming out with!
