A shady turn of events
Have you heard the news? Eminem, the trash talking rapper idolised by scangers worldwide, has cancelled his European gigs including one planned for Slane Castle.His reason? Exhaustion. Hmm.
Lord Mountcharles said it was too late to reschedule another gig and refused to comment on whether he would pursue Eminem for compensation.
"In all the years that Slane has been running we've never been confronted by a scenario like this.
"I don't think the Rolling Stones or U2 would cancel a section owing to nervous exhaustion," he said.
Aw, what a pity. The scangers in Ireland are said to be devastated. One of them apparently said he couldn't see himself burning cars for a long time to come...
