Friday Fun's Fab Vocab
Continuing my aim to add a more Irish feel to United Irelander, I thought I would add a vocabulary section to the blog promoting the language in the best way that I can. So with that in mind, here are some useful Irish words:
Irish to English:
eitleán = aeroplane
scamall = cloud
uisce = water
sneachta = snow
Tá mo bhríste trí thine = My trousers are on fire
I hope you found this week's edition of Fab Vocab both informative and stimulating.
